Part 1
- Crow sings a song at karaoke with Penny, Cam, Leon, and Orchid.
- Cam says he’s actually really good and would like him to sing for her band.
- He is reluctant.
- Leon says Crow is cool and he really wants him to play in the band.
- Crow laughs and says he’ll think about it.
- Penny compliments his voice and says he should do it. He immediately agrees.
later, after orchid has figured out her own feelings, she decides to confront crow and ask him on a date. but she knows crow likes penny, and that he has a performance coming up soon.
she knows what she wants, but she waits to see how things go first. not wanting to mess anything up.
Backstory Time: Penny – Part 4
It took a week for her father to bring find out and bring up the missing report card, to which she admitted having trashed it. He became upset and began to yell, telling her that she is insulting him and her late mother.
Penny threw a cup at him, which shattered on the wall behind him. She yelled back, telling him she’s done being their trophy, done trying to live up to their impossible standards, done giving a shit about his feelings. He never once asked her what she wanted. She’s sick of feeling guilty. Sick of feeling like she had to earn their love and earn her stay.
The fight went on for a while, ending with them not speaking to each other. A couple days later, she brings him a form and tells him to sign it. It was a transfer of custody form, she was putting herself into foster care. She didn’t expect that he’d sign it immediately.
She packed her things and left. The first night in her new room, she stared at the moon and cried.
High school starts soon. She was going to do things her way from now on. She was going to care about herself.
